Vintage Gold Opal Scorpion Brooch A beautiful and highly stylised mid century scorpion gold brooch set with rich deep iridescent opals radiating rich blues and greens with two ruby eyes.
The scorption has been hand crafted in 9ct rose gold with a textured finish to the body and pincers. To the reverse he is fitted with a pin and swivel hook closure for added security.
Weight: 8.3gm. Measurements: 6.5cm x 3.8cm (2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″)
He is in very good condition and dates from the 1950s. Stamped 9ct, tested as 9ct gold with C.T.C. maker’s mark.
