1920s Diamond and Platinum Cluster Earrings

1920s diamond cluster earrings set with Old European cut diamonds weighing 1.50ct;  these earrings are delicate and feminine with a timeless air about them, perfect for evenings out and parties, with the diamonds catching the light and shimmering in candlelight.  They are of fine craftsmanship and formed of a central diamond with platinum bars fanning out to a circle of diamonds around the edge, suspended from a small diamond. The backs and hooks are in 18ct yellow gold and have a flip up catch to keep the earrings in place.  Weight: 5.40gm.  Measurements from the top of the diamond: 16mm x 11mm.  Tested as platinum and 18ct gold.  The earrings are in excellent condition. c.1920.
