Antique French Diamond Drop Earrings These pretty antique French earrings date from the end of the 19th century. They are formed of an octagonal drop set with a central Old European cut diamond within a star shaped border and an outer border of Rose cut diamonds, hand crafted with millegrain edging.
The drops are suspended below a lever back fitting set with diamonds. Total diamond weight: 0.40ct. The earrings are stamped with the French 18ct gold mark, Charançon (Weevil) used for imported gold in the 19th century.
Measurements: length 25mm x width 10mm
