Antique Long Platinum Gemstone Chain A beautiful long platinum chain set with 94 oval facetted gemstones, consisting of aquamarines, citrines, garnets and peridots linked by lustrous small white 3mm pearls.
It is fitted with a platinum clasp so the chain can be worn in varying lengths creating different effects. Length: 120cm (47″)
Weight: 21.7gm. The chain is UK hallmarked platinum and is in very good condition. It dates from around 1925 and is a fine example of handmade craftsmanship of the era with perfectly colour matched gemstones forming a rainbow of colours.
This is a rare piece which would make a wonderful addition to an antique jewellery collection.
