Antique Sapphire Engagement Ring this oval cluster ring is set with a natural certified, earth mined, Unheated sapphire weighing 1.11ct of a strong royal blue colour, and surrounded by Old European cut diamonds totalling 1ct.
The ring is French in origin and was made around 1910 – 1915. It sits low on the finger and is very comfortable to wear with the diamonds mounted in a platinum (tested) gallery over an 18ct rose gold mount and band.
There are traces of the original French hallmark on the shank.
Weight: 4.7gm; measurements of the head : 17mm x 13mm x 5mm height off the finger.
The ring is in very good antique condition and has been professionally re-polished. It is accompanied by a certificate stating that it has had no form of heat treatment.
