Antique Swiss 18ct Long Gold Sautoir This is a fine example of an antique Swiss long 18ct gold filigree sautoir which is fitted with a bolt ring so it can be worn in several ways, doubled or wrapped three times around the neck for dramatic effect.
Weight: 24.4gm. Length: 157cm (62″). It is stamped with the Swiss assay mark for 18ct gold (Hélvetia) and tested as 18ct gold.
This beautiful long chain is handmade, of high quality of craftsmanship and is in good condition although several of the links have some small parts of the filigree missing which is understandable due to its age from around 1880.
