Antique Victorian Ruby and Diamond Ring

Antique Victorian ruby and diamond ring;  this is the classic three stone ring so popular in the late Victorian era and for anyone looking for an antique engagement ring.  It is set with three  rubies of a strong cranberry red colour, full of life and brilliance and weighing 1.20ct.  They are accented by 2 pairs of Old European cut diamonds totalling 0.12ct and are mounted over a multi clawed gallery.  The shoulders are each carved with a butterfly design.  Weight: 2.91gm.  Measurements of the head: 15mm x 6mm x 3.5mm height off the finger. There is a worn 18ct gold London hallmark.  The ring dates from the late Victorian era, around 1880 – 1900 and is in very good condition.  Finger Size M (UK/AU), 6.5 (US), 53 (French) which we can re-size for you if required.  Ref: L064
