Art Deco Diamond Platinum Ring: This oval ring is millegrain set with two Old European Cut diamonds each weighing 0.40ct and surrounded by a further 0.80ct of Old European Cut diamonds with millegrain edging (total diamond weight 1.60ct).
It is mounted over a carved gallery and sits low on the finger as was usual of the rings of the Art Deco era. Weight 4.8gm. Measurements: 1.9cm x 1.30cm.
This is a very pretty ring that typifies the elegance of the era and would make a fabulous antique engagement ring. It is stamped with a worn French import mark for Platinum (Greek Doctor) and is in excellent condition.
