Art Deco French Diamond Platinum Cocktail Watch

Art Deco ladies French diamond cocktail watch set in platinum;  no stylish and fashion conscious lady in Paris in the 1920s and 1930s would be seen without a diamond cocktail watch when attending parties and soirees.  This watch is set with 8-cut diamonds totalling an estimated 0.60ct in a millegrain platinum setting and is fitted with a black woven cord strap.  It has a Swiss mechanical wind up movement and is in good working order.  The sides of the watch have elegant art deco carvings and the face is a gold colour and stamped HM.   Total weight including strap and movement: 10.6gm.  Measurements: 3.5cm x 1cm (1 1/2″ x 3/8″).  Length including strap:  16cm (6 1/4″) so this will fit a small wrist.  Stamped with the French state control mark for platinum.  The watch is in good vintage condition.  C.1920s   Ref: K002
