Art Deco Sapphire Diamond Bracelet

Art Deco sapphire and diamond bracelet set in platinum; this pretty bracelet has recently been acquired from the private collection of a prominent English family.  It is formed of a line of natural marquise sapphires each weighing 0.77ct and totalling 8.47ct (approximately).  The sapphires are a deep blue colour, eye clean and are separated by Old European cut diamonds totalling 0.88ct.  All the stones are bezel set with millegrain edging.  It closes with a tongue and box clasp which is invisible when the bracelet is being worn.  Weight: 12.9gm; length: 19cm (7 1/2″) so it will fit a medium to large wrist.  Tested as platinum.  The bracelet is in very good condition and dates from the 1920s.  It is accompanied by a certificate stating the sapphires to be natural.
