Art Deco Sapphire Diamond Brooch

Art Deco sapphire and diamond brooch;  from a private collection we have this beautiful piece of fine jewellery exquisitely hand crafted in platinum.  The circular brooch is set with a central, royal blue sapphire, millegrain set and weighing 0.50ct with bands of Rose cut diamonds all with millegrain edging forming an Art Deco design and totalling 1.72ct.  To the reverse it is set with a pin and locking system.  Weight: 7.8gm.  Measurements: 2.8cm x 2.8cm (1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″).  Tested as platinum.  The brooch dates from the 1930s and is in very good condition.  ref: MH022
