Arts and Crafts Turquoise Matrix Gold Necklace From the turn of the 20th century, this is in the form of a négligée necklace, a style that was the height of fashion at the time. It is composed of two turquoise matrix drops suspended on a knife blade set with seed pearls, and attached to a further turquoise drop, with all the stones set in coronet mounts.
The négligée is attached to a chain stamped 15ct and tested as 15ct gold. Length of chain to drop: 40cm (15″); length including drop: 44.5cm (17 3/4″). Weight: 7.30gm.
