Chimento Diamond Pearl Pendant & Earrings This is a beautiful South Sea pearl and diamond pendant and earrings set by the Italian luxury jewellery house, Chimento. The pendant is formed of a large 14.72mm black South Sea pearl with a diamond collar, suspended below a Brilliant cut diamond panel forming the front part of the bale. Diamond weight: 0.45ct. It is articulated, creating fluidity and movement. Weight: 11.1gm.
The pendant is supplied with a 44cm (17″) chain, stamped 750 (tested as 18ct gold), weight: 5.7gm.
Length: 3.5cm (1 1/2″). Stamped 750 and tested as 18ct gold.
The earrings are each formed of a 11.5mm Black South Sea pearl fitted with a diamond collar, suspended below a Brilliant cut diamond panel. Diamond weight: 1.00ct. To the reverse they have a post and clip for added security and are very comfortable to wear. Length: 3cm (1 1/4″). Stamped 750, Chimento with Italian marks. Weight: 14.7gm.
The set dates from the 1990s and is of fine manufacture and in very good condition.
