Large Antique Victorian Citrine 15ct Gold Brooch

Large antique Victorian citrine and 15ct gold brooch;  this is a seriously dramatic and bold piece of statement jewellery from the Victorian era.  It is set with a large oval pale yellow citrine with honey tones weighing approximately 24ct,  set in an ornate floral scrolled mount with swags and tassels.  Weight: 20gm.  To the reverse the brooch is fitted with a pin and hook closure.  Tested as 15ct gold.   Measurements: width 5cm x 5cm, and 9cm to the bottom of the tassel (2 1/8″ x 2 1/8′ and 3 1/2″).  This beautiful hand made brooch is in very good vintage condition.  C.1860 – 1880.  Ref: K007
