Leo de Vroomen reversible triple row pearl and enamel necklace;  this is a magnificent piece of jewellery, a veritable work of art from the esteemed British jewellery house.  It is formed of three rows of creamy white, knotted, cultured pearls measuring 6.5mm which are separated at the front by 7 gold and enamel plaques, blue on one side and golden/orange to the reverse.  This extraordinary necklace has been cleverly made so it is completely reversible – blue for spring and golden/orange for autumn, representing blue skies and autumn leaves.  The enamel work for which the house of De Vroomen in renowned, is exquisite, and in excellent condition.   Weight 110gm.  It closes with a gold slide clasp which is attached to the three rows of pearls.  Depth, 2.5cm/(1″); Length 50cm/16″ which we can either lengthen or shorten if required.  Signed Leo de Vroomen, stamped LDV and hallmarked 18ct gold, London 1996.  This unique necklace was retailed by Boodle & Dunthorne and is in excellent condition.   Ref: H048
