Mid Century 18ct Gold Diamond Earrings

Large mid century 18ct gold and diamond floral earrings;  these beauties are in the form of flower clusters with five petals set with 8-cut diamonds in a millegrain setting; total diamond weight 1.60ct.  They are fitted with a clip and post for added security and are comfortable to wear.  Weight 23.8gms; stamped 750 and tested as 18ct gold.  Measurements: 3.5cms x 3.5cms (1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″).  The gold is a lovely rich warm colour, so often used during the 1940s and 1950s.  The earrings are dramatic and bold and evoke the jewellery of a bygone era of glamorous movie stars and cocktail parties.  No woman could fail to feel special wearing these.  Condition: Excellent.  C.1940s.
