Mid Century Diamond Platinum Spray Brooch

Spectacular mid century diamond scrolling spray brooch;  this is a truly magnificent piece of jewellery of fine workmanship.  The brooch is formed of a large diamond scroll and floral spray with rows of cascading diamonds terminating in marquise diamond drops; there are 178 marquise, round brilliant and baguette diamonds totalling 8.56ct  (assessed mounted) G-I colour and VS1-SI clarity, the largest of which is a marquise weighing 0.63ct H/I, VS1/2.  It is fitted with a pin and hook catch; weight 22.5gm; length 8cm x 3.9cm (3.15″ x 1.5″)  Tested as platinum; excellent condition.  C.1950s.   This brooch comes accompanied by an independent insurance valuation.
