Mid Century Sapphire Diamond Cluster Ring This is a magnificent sapphire and diamond ring in the form of a diamond openwork dome with scalloped edges set with Brilliant and Baguette diamonds totalling 4.32ct, assessed as H-J colour, VS clarity, on a multi banded shank. In the centre sits an oval sapphire of an intense blue weighing 5.10ct of Sri Lankan origin.
Weight: 14gm. Stamped Pt950 SC and tested as platinum.
Measurements of the head: 20mm x 20mm x 15mm height off the finger.
This ring is a bold and dramatic statement piece and a superb example of craftsmanship, dating from the 1950s – 1960s and is in very good condition.
