Sapphire Diamond Louis Gérard Band Ring This elegant sapphire and diamond is by Louis Gérard who, after working for many years at Van Cleef & Arpels, decided to branch out on his own with a desire to create “the most beautiful jewels in the world”.
The ring is set in 18ct gold and is formed of 3 central midnight blue pear shaped sapphires totalling 1.35ct and three rows of graduated Brilliant cut diamonds weighing a total of 1.86ct, to great dramatic effect with lots of sparkles. The quality of the manufacture of this beautiful ring is testament the craftsmanship of the brand.
Weight: 8.3gm. Signed Louis Gérard, 750 and individually numbered. The ring is stamped with the maker’s mark and French state control mark for 18ct gold (Eagle’s Head). Measurements: 10.5mm x 4mm height off the finger.
It is in very good condition and dates from the 1980s.
