Small Victorian Diamond and Ruby Heart Pendant

Victorian diamond and ruby heart pendant set in 9ct rose gold. This is the most romantic of Victorian jewellery and would probably have been given as a love token by a bridegroom to his bride.  It is set with a cluster of rose cut diamonds totalling 0.06ct around the ruby which weighs 0.04ct in set a star motif.  At the top there is a ring and hoop for chain.  This pretty heart comes supplied with a contemporary 9ct gold chain.  Weight including chain: 1.90gm.  Measurements to the top of the loop: 2cm x 1.20cm wide.  The pendant is in very good condition and dates from around 1880 – 1900.  Stamped 9c and tested as 9ct gold.   Ref: H066-6
