Tanzanite Diamond Platinum Ballerina Ring Spectacular large tanzanite and diamond ballerina ring set in platinum; this is a truly magnificent ring and a rare find – it is one of the earliest tanzanites to come out of the mine and is the most incredible mesmerising deep shade of blue with flashes of purple.
The rectangular cushion shaped stone weighs 8.20ct and sits proudly over an undulating wave of baguette cut diamonds forming the “skirt” of the ballerina.
The diamonds weigh 2.50ct (approximately) and are mounted over a gallery. Weight 13.3gm.
Tanzanites were first discovered in 1967 and launched by Tiffany & Co in October 1968, this ring is hallmarked platinum 1988 so falls within the fist 20 years since the discovery of this amazing stone.
