Victorian Amethyst Gold Brooch This is an ornate and highly decorated brooch with typical Victorian patterns and scrollwork, set with an amethyst weighing 19ct. Brooches from this era were considered the height of fashion and sophistication, with amethyst being a very popular stone.
To the reverse it is fitted with a pin and hook closure with a safety chain for added security. Weight: 14.6gms. Tested as 9ct gold.
