Victorian Coral and Gold Bar Brooch

Antique Victorian coral bar brooch in 15ct gold; this style of brooch was a firm favourite in the Victorian era and coral jewellery was very popular.  The coral here is a lovely Angel skin colour and is mounted on the bar of the brooch which is in the form of a safety pin.  To the reverse there is a pin and hook closure.   Weight 2.40gm.  Measurements: 4cm x 1cm/1.5″ x 0.50″.  Tested as 15ct gold and is in the lovely warm tones of rose gold.   The brooch is in good condition and dates from around 1880-1900.  Ref: H066-19
