Victorian Double Horseshoe Gold Brooch

The Alice Collection – Antique Victorian double horseshoe brooch in 9ct gold; this is one of two horseshoe brooches in Alice’s collection and is delicate and pretty with a floral design.  The horseshoes are set on a bar and are sure to bring good luck to whoever wears this charming little piece of history.  It has been made in rose and yellow gold and has been professionally re-polished.  To the reverse it is fixed with a pin and hook closure in good working order.  Weight: 2.40gm.  Hallmarked Birmingham 9ct gold (no visible date letter) .  Measurements: 3.4cm x 1.2cm (1 3/8″ x 1/2″).   This luck horseshoe brooch is in excellent condition and dates from around 1880 – 1890.  Ref: H066-64.
