Victorian Pearl Crescent Brooch

Victorian pearl crescent brooch in 18ct gold; this is made in the classic crescent moon shape that was all the rage in Victorian times.  The brooch is set with natural graduated split pearls in two rows.  To the reverse it is fitted with a pin and hook closure.  Weight: 4.80gm, measurements: 3cm x 2.50cm/1.25″ x 1″.  Stamped 18ct and tested as 18ct gold with maker’s mark SS.  This pretty brooch would be a great addition to a collection or would look chic and stylish worn on a lapel or hat.  It is in very good condition and dates from around 1860 – 1900.  Ref: H066-4
