Vintage Amethyst Leopard Pendant A magnificent vintage amethyst, diamond and gold leopard pendant/brooch; this is a spectacular bespoke piece of fine jewellery that makes a huge statement.
It is formed of a large, 54ct rich purple amethyst in an abstract, diamond studded, woven mount. There is a Brilliant cut, diamond set snarling leopard with emerald eyes, crawling over the stone. Total diamond weight: 1.50ct.
The reverse of the mount is an open wirework setting, fitted with a diagonal pin and swivel lock closure so the jewel can also be worn as a brooch. It is also fitted with an opening bale with lock fitting to attach to a string of pearls.
This is a truly unique jewel which would enhance any collection. Weight: 41gm. Measurements: 5cm x 4cm x 15mm depth.
Tested as 18ct gold. Supplied with a 46cm (18″) belcher chain which tests as 9ct gold. and weighs 7gm. This beautiful pendant was made in the 1980s and is in excellent condition. Ref: L032
