Vintage Asprey Enamel Mouse Brooch

Vintage Asprey 18ct gold and enamel mouse brooch; this cute mouse brooch was made in Italy for Asprey & Co and is a caricature of a famous mouse!  He has a translucent blue enamel head with tiny gold flecks, an emerald cabochon and diamond set eye and a little ruby nose.  To the reverse he is fitted with a double pin and security lock.  Weight: 12g.  Measurements: 3cm x 2cm ( 1 1/8″ x 7/8″) plus his tail.  Stamped with the Italian maker’s marks, Asprey & Co and hallmarked 18ct gold London 1977.  He is in very good condition.  Ref: L035
