Vintage Emerald and Diamond Bombé Ring This is a spectacular mid century example of the stylish and classic Bombé ring that was so popular in the Art Deco era of the 1930s with rounded and convex profiles.
It gained traction in the 1940s and 1950s during the “Cocktail Ring” boom and this ring shows off the style to great effect.
The ring is set with Brilliant cut diamonds totalling 2.70ct, separated by rows of Carré cut emeralds totalling 1.40ct in a curved design and sits comfortably on the finger.
Stamped PT950 and tested as platinum and weighs a considerable 15.8gm. Measurements of the head: 25mm x 16.5mm x 8mm height off the finger.
It dates from the 1960s and is of fine manfacture and in very good condition.
