Vintage Synthetic Alexandrite Gold Bracelet This is a beautiful and unique mid century piece from our Sophia Collection. It features a row of 8 synthetic Alexandrites of a strong purple shade totalling 26cts (assessed). Each one is bezel set in a circular mount with a rope design and linked to allow for movement and fluidity. The vibrant gemstones have a tendancy to colour change to a bluish shade in different lights in a similar way to natural Alexandrite.
The bracelet closes with a push-in circular clasp matching the design of the setting.
Weight: 22.8gm. Stamped 585, individually numbered and tested as 14ct gold.
Measurements: 17.5cm (6 3/4″) x depth 13.75mm.
It dates from the 1960s and is in very good condition.
