Vintage Amethyst and Diamond Twist Ring A very elegant and stylish amethyst and diamond twist ring which makes a big statement. This ring is clearly designed to be worn alone as a stand out piece.
It is formed of a central, round Brilliant cut amethyst, weighing 1.50ct, and a strong shade of purple, designed to maximise sparkle, and is set in a four claw mount.
There are 5 rows of Brilliant cut diamonds totalling 2ct (assessed) set into the shoulders and can been seen from all angles to dramatic effect.
Stamped 18ct and tested as 18ct gold. Weight: 8gm. Measurements: depth 17.5mm x 5mm height off the finger.
The ring dates from the 1990s and is in very good condition.
