Vintage Synthetic Alexandrite Gold Earrings These elegant and unique mid century earrings are from our Sophia Collection.
They are each formed of a synthetic Alexandrite of a strong purple shade, assessed as 3.25ct (Total weight: 6.50ct). The vibrant gemstones have a tendency to colour change to a bluish shade in different lights in a similar way to natural Alexandrite.
Each is bezel set in a circular mount with a rope work design and fitted with a hook and lock closure.
Weight: 5.9gm. Stamped 585 and tested as 14ct gold.
Measurements: 25mm x 13.50mm.
The earrings are in very good condition and date from the 1960s.
