Vintage Unheated Ceylon Sapphire Ring This is a wonderful example of a mid century sapphire and diamond “tourbillon” ring. It is formed of a swirl of Brilliant cut diamonds totalling 1.25ct around a light blue, Cushion cut sapphire weighing 2.43ct. The sapphire is certified as Unheated and of Sri Lankan origin.
The stones are all mounted high over a wirework gallery to great effect, making this ring a real showstopper! The ring is handmade and dates from the 1950s.
Tested as 18ct gold. Weight: 7.49gm. Measurements: 19mm x 20mm x 13mm height off the finger. It is in very good condition and would make a wonderful vintage engagement ring. Finger Size: N 1/2 (UK/AU), 7 (US), 55 (French) which we can re-size for you free of charge if required.
